In this first discussion at The Nine, we will be hearing from Crypto investor and educator Maurgane Rose Nlandu on what to expect in 2023 from the Crypto ecosystem. We then look at Web3 and the fashion industry with Ann Claes, the founder of digital fashion network MUTANI & Senior Project Manager Fashion & Tech @ Flanders DC.

Lorena Billi, Founder of Furt’Her
Furt’Her is the first female community in Web3 in Brussels. It regularly organizes events on NFTs, Crypto, Metaverse, Blockchain, Tokenization etc, and often presents projects with a social mission. In Lorena’s own words; “it is important to be aware of what technologies are coming, and for women to participate in their evolution.”

Ann has been working in fashion for over 20 years in different roles at Veronique Branquinho, Delvaux, and FNG group, and currently as Sr Project Manager at Flanders DC. She advises fashion companies on futureproof entrepreneurship, including the use of technology. Together with Shayli Harrison, Ann founded MUTANI in 2021.
MUTANI is a digital fashion unitive driven to inject the fashion into digital fashion. Curating and match-making next-level designers with their aesthetic equal in digital development to produce digital fashion assets for wear in games and virtual worlds. MUTANI is a network in the digital ecosystem that offers guidelines, support and services to IRL designers looking to reach URL audiences.
